Action Heats Up in Week 4

With Week 4 games in the books, it is clear that there may a few teams that can be seen as favorites-- but the possibilities of a big-time upset down the stretch are very likely. As usual, Bulldogs (1-3) played tough as nails basketball, but the veteran Squires (4-0) squad showed some b-ball I.Q. by adjusting as necessary and playing big-time D to outlast and frustrate the 'Dogs. The reigning AABL Champs , Quiet Storm (4-0), didn't have an easy first half against the upstart Blazers (2-2), but after the Blazers strayed from their game plan, Q.S. easily dusted them. The Raptors (4-0) kept rolling with an easy W over the undermanned and overmatched Wolves (1-3). Forwarders, suddenly looking like an upper echelon team, (3-1) shot lights out getting the win easily over a D.O.C. (1-3) team still looking for an identity. The new look Dream Team (2-2) looked good in their win against an unfortunate Rebels (0-4) team looking for their first win. In a battle of the winless, Warriors (1-3) looked confident against Skymax (0-4). Venom (3-1) once again showcased their talent and exciting brand of basketball, running up the score and consistently burning the defense of the Prodigies (2-2).

The entire league and its teams will have a Bye Week for this upcoming Sunday (March 23) in consideration of the Easter Holiday. After the break, the excitement will escalate with 5 straight weeks of Regular Season games followed by 2 Weeks of Playoff action. Just remember teams-- It's not how you start the season, it's how you finish it. Over half of a season left to play and anything can happen!

We appreciate your patience as we continue to work on getting the standings, stats, recaps, photos and all that up. We guarantee that you'll be please with the end product when it's up.
