In the Most Action Packed Playoffs Yet, Four Teams Remain Left Standing

The action couldn't be any better at the AABL Playoffs as every team that stepped into the gym brought postseason intensity-- which doesn't necessarily mean they brought their A game. Twelve teams entered the playoffs, but only 4 very worthy teams are left standing. #1 Quiet Storm plowed through #9 Dream Team to show intent they are on keeping their crown. Also moving on to the semi-finals, #2 Squires played a too-close-for-comfort game against a DOC team which has been playing inspired ball lately. If #5 Venom was a darkhorse to win it all before, they are now a big-time favorite to take the crown home as they displayed just how dangerous they are when their team is complete. But before they would move on to the next round, the crowd in attendance was treated to maybe the game of the year as Venom battled it out against the young, tough, and skilled Prodigies team. #6 Raptors also join the AABL final four as they avenged last week's loss to #3 Forwarders. Big up to the other teams that fell in the first round of the playoffs but managed to show the crowd in attendance what AABL competition is all about. This is the best part of the season because near the end of the year is when players finally come together and show their true identity as a team. Thanks for making it a great year and hopefully you run it back next season! But there is more basketball left to play and it looks like we're in store for a good old-fashioned shoot-out with four teams that are capable of lighting up the scoreboard. Check us out on Tuesday for the breakdown of the Semi-finals.
