(36) Warriors vs. (51) Rebels, Week 5
The Rebels were able to capture their first win of the season over the Warriors. Paced by a huge game from Brandon Rice (21 pts, 21 rebs), the Rebels were able to earn a confidence-boosting W and keep their playoff hopes alive. Joe Marlowe also had a good game at the point, scoring 17 pts to go with 6 rebs, 2 asts, 3 stls, a block, and a three. The Warriors slow start in the game hurt the most. Warrior's Tony Otter (16 pts, 14 rebs, 2 threes) did his best to keep his squad in the game. And the ever-improving Eric Smith (12 pts, 12 rebs, 2 threes, 2 asts, 3 stls, 3 blks) played tough all game long, but the Rebels were determined to earn their first win. FD
