(70) #10 D.O.C. vs. (73) #2 Squires, Quarterfinal
In a rematch of their game in Week 1 the Squires needed every point they scored as they shook off a stubborn D.O.C. squad. Playing without injured star Jeremy Calazara, Glen Van Houton came through with a big game, leading Squires with 17 points, 13 reb, 2 ast & 1 blk. D.O.C. played fearless ball for the entire forty – Marvin Todd provided the most damage, leading all scorers with 29 points, three 3’s, 2 reb & 1 ast. His effort provided Squires with a tough hill to climb as they trailed for the entire first half. Squires were able to battle back and took their first lead at 39-37. In the end it looked as if the second of two games during the day tired out D.O.C. They weren’t able to provide the knockout punch and as a result Squires moves on to the semifinals against #6 Raptors. JV
