(48) Dream Team vs. (57) Bulldogs, Week 9
The Bulldogs continued their hot streak by outplaying a Dream Team squad that is still looking for answers.  Bulldogs' Jon Allmond continued to lead his teams march to the playoffs with a usual big game-- hitting em up for 23 pts, 2 threes, 12 rebs, 3 stls, 2 asts.  Curtis Pender has picked up his inside game on offense and defense, helping the Dogs with 14 pts, 11 rebs, 3 blks.  Dream Team hung with the Bulldogs for a good portion of the game, heading into the half tied 22-22.  But without the services of James Oaks in the paint who injured himself in the game, the Dogs wore out the Dream Team in the second half.  DT's Mike Oaks played one of his better all-around games of the year, scoring 11 pts, 3 threes, 6 rebs, 4 asts, 4 blks, 3 stls.  And David Ortega stepped up with 10 pts, 7 rebs but DT needed more help in this one.  This game didn't mean too much as far as the playoffs are concerned because these teams were going to play each other in the first round of the playoffs regardless of the result.  But at least the Bulldogs go into the rematch knowing they can put down DT.  And just about any other team in the league right now.  FD
