(63) Forwarders vs. (57) Dream Team, Week 3
The Forwarders started the game strong with a 12-5 run in the first 8 minutes. They were able to hold off Dream Team’s comeback attempt as they were able to pick up their second victory of the season. Kevin Alig and Scotty Howe scored 17 points each to lead the Forwarders. Alig made the biggest splash from outside with 3 triples while Howe used his speed and quickness to breakdown defenders off the dribble. Alig had a good overall game, contributing 3 reb, 4 ast, 4 stl & 1 blk in a winning effort. On the other side Mike Macaraeg had a big shooting game for Dream Team. He scored 15 points, all from behind the arc. James Oaks (10 pts, 14 reb, 1 ast, 2 stl) was able to lend support with a strong effort as well. Dream Team, though, wasn’t able to recover from their poor start and the Forwarders made more FT’s than their opponents attempted… jv
