Game 4 – Quiet Storm 64 (0-0, 1-0) @ Rebels 17 (0-0, 0-1)

The Rebels made a great leap forward last season as they played their way to last season’s semifinals behind an 8-5 record. They lost to eventual champion Quiet Storm by just eight points. With a largely new roster, the Rebels weren’t nearly as impressive in their season debut - they could muster only 8 FG’s en route to a huge loss in this season’s rematch. Quiet Storm continued their style of full-court pressure and fast break ball at every opportunity. This strategy resulted in numerous steals and easy buckets off of transition. Every player who suited up for Q.S. scored – they were led by the steady play of Mikey Sinchongco, who scored 13 pts (game-high), 6 reb, 1 ast and 1 stl. More impressive is that all but two Q.S. players managed to get at least one steal in the game. On the other end the Rebels returned only 4 players from last season. Their lack of chemistry combined with their inability to break the Storm’s press led to their poor game. The Rebels were led by point guard Joe Marlowe who struggled with his shot all game and could only contribute 9 pts, 4 reb, and 1 stl.
