Skymax
Game 7 – Skymax
30 (0-1, 0-1) @ Dream Team 39 (1-0, 1-0)
A huge comeback effort fell just short as Skymax looked to pick up their first win since 2005 (they went winless last season). They shook off a poor first-half effort (in which they scored only 4 points) and had numerous chances to get the win but they ran out of steam as the Dream Team closed the game on a 13-4 run. Bobby Grewal led the Dream Team with 16 points, 15 rebounds and 2 steals. His presence down low was too much for Skymax to handle. Despite that Brim Daniels countered Dream Team’s inside efforts by taking to the perimeter. He scored all of his team-high 12 points in the second half, including three from behind the arc. No one else was able to score in double-digits as scoring overall was held to a minimum. Dream Team was able to convert six of their nine attempts from the charity stripe in the second half – enough for them to go home with their first victory of the season.
