(32) Warriors vs. (58) Blazers, Week 2
The 2nd year Blazers bounced back from their Week 1 flop nicely by taking out the 1st year Warriors, who haven’t found the win column yet. The Blazers used a 10-0 run to start the game and they never looked back as they won by 26. Larry Johnson (11 reb, 3 stl, 1 blk) went inside all game, leading all scorers with 20 points. His support came from Chris Mendoza and Harold San Antonio, scoring 10 points apiece. On the other end of the court the Warriors seemed unsure of themselves, especially offensively. Their 32 points is drastically less than their debut effort against the Raptors, a game that they also lost. They played much better in the second half but the opening 20 minutes resulted in just 10 points. Jay Harris led the Warriors with 9 points, 6 reb and 1 stl. jv
